Having sat through many hours of terrible, ineffective meetings and dull powerpoint presentations, I pledge to help you avoid that kind of thing at all costs. Trained in Deep Democracy, Art of Hosting and visual tools for facilitators, my process design focuses on interactivity and relationship building, while making sure that participants feel safe and happy throughout. Using unique activities, I can help your group effectively work through complex issues and challenging conflicts in a way that promotes shared understanding and practical problem solving.
I have helped to design and facilitate many workshops, including an annual province-wide community planning workshop with 100+ attendees that focuses specifically on First Nations comprehensive community planning. I was also co-chair for the BC Joint Gathering in 2015 and 2016, with 300+ attendees from across BC. Other events that I have facilitated include:
I have worked with groups as small as five people, and as large as 300, on topics ranging from housing, policy development and work planning to visioning, treaty, and relationship building. I have also chaired various committees and groups and am very familiar with Robert's Rules of Order.
